Near Denver? Play Video Games and Help Japan’s Earthquake Victims on 3/24

Kotaku's Brian Crecente is hosting a fundraiser this Thursday, March 24 in Denver, CO to benefit victims of the earthquake in Japan. If you live in the Mile High City, VGVN encourages you to show off your video game skills for a good cause.

The Details

When: March 24 from 6pm-midnight
Where: Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, 2637 Welton Street, Denver, CO 80205
What: Rock Band & DJ Hero on the stage, free console arcade, silent auction featuring signed & numbered lithographs from Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2, and DJ Licious D
Minimum Donation: $10

100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society — which is working on the ground in Japan to help those impacted by the Sendai earthquake and tsunami.

Even if you aren't able to attend the event, please consider making a donation directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
