Video Game Voters Network

The comic book legend Stan Lee has joined forces with the Video Game Voters Network.

Lee, the mind behind such characters as Spider-Man, the Hulk and Iron Man, wrote an open letter in defense of video games and the importance of free speech.

Not long ago, comic books were the target of censorship and government investigations. Now, video games are being scrutinized by a California law that would prohibit minors from purchasing "violent" games.

In the words of the great Stan Lee, "It was a bad idea half a century ago and it's just as bad an idea now."
